Ardmore

Created as an influential middle-class neighborhood beginning in 1914, Ardmore remains one of Winston-Salem's most loved neighborhoods. In the past decade, its charm has been discovered by a new generation of young families, single and retired professionals, empty nesters, and families relocating from out of state. Bordered by our two medical centers, this neighborhood is also popular with many medical professionals.

In August 2004, the Ardmore Historic District became the largest historic district in Winston-Salem, when approximately 2000 of Ardmores properties were officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
